Personal testimonies from real Christians all over the world.
Growing up, Ole Skiaker was a weak and sick boy. His father died when he was 5, and for some years Ole was under foster care, and later lived at an orphanage. He had tuberculosis, which resulted in him having a club foot. When he was around 17, he met some Christians who believed that it is fully possible to come to divine nature – God’s nature, just as it’s written in God’s Word, and he became gripped of the same. Even though Ole died of tuberculosis at the very young age of 21, the amount of wisdom and understanding he had gained in those few years, evident through the letters and songs he had written, reveal a deep inner cleansing and self-acknowledgement that was present in a zealous young man hungry to partake of more of God’s nature. “Time is our life.” Ole used to say. Do you and I have the same intense longing to use the time we have to press into God to be transformed more and more from our wretched sinful nature? // SWIPE 👉 to read an excerpt from one of Ole’s letters and one of his songs #HistoricSnapshot
