Rest believing, nothing doubting

SONG: Knowing that I can go to His throne of grace in prayer and cast every care on Him is the reason I can “rest believing, nothing doubting,” whatever comes my way.

“When life’s cares bear down on me, I will cast them all on Thee.”

There is tremendous comfort in knowing that I have a precious Savior who is with me at all times to strengthen, lift, and care for me! Knowing that I can go to His throne of grace in prayer and cast every care on Him is the reason I can “rest believing, nothing doubting,” whatever comes my way. When we believe in Him and believe in God’s word then we can experience this wonderful rest while we are still here on this earth!

“For we who have believed do enter that rest …” Hebrews 4:3.

Lyrics: Rest believing, nothing doubting

When life’s cares bear down on me,
I will cast them all on Thee.
Thought wilt greatly strengthen me,
Precious Savior.
Then no burden is too great,
None so young that they must wait.
O what comfort great I share.
Hallelujah!

When I’m tired and cast right down,
Thou dost lift me with Thine arm.
Thou dost give me victory,
Precious Savior.
At Thy Word each foe must flee;
Satan has no claim on me.
I shall reign eternally.
Hallelujah!

Rest believing, nothing doubting!
Cast on Him your every care
At His throne of grace in prayer.
Lift your vision up to heaven.
For His laws so wonderful we will praise Him.

Would you life and good days see?
Then your will must buried be.
Life and peace you’ll then receive,
Brother, sister!
Let us give our life and blood;
Let us work for others’ good.
Christ will meet our every need.
Hallelujah!

Let us run hard in the race,
None of God’s good time to waste.
Life is short; O make good haste,
Brother, sister.
All the strife we’ll not regret,
All the suff’rings we’ll forget,
When we share our Savior’s throne.
Hallelujah!

Rest believing, nothing doubting!
Cast on Him your every care
At His throne of grace in prayer.
Lift your vision up to heaven.
For His laws so wonderful we will praise Him.

Soon our suff’rings will be past,
When life’s end we meet at last.
One forever shall we be.
Hallelujah!
Pain and sorrow are not there
In our Savior’s home so fair.
And the crown of life we’ll wear.
Hallelujah!

Rest believing, nothing doubting!
Cast on Him your every care
At His throne of grace in prayer.
Lift your vision up to heaven.
For His laws so wonderful we will praise Him.
